Sengenics launches world-class commercial facility in Brunei Darussalam

Sengenics, a leading genomics and proteomics-based research and diagnostics company in the region, launched a world-class, commercially driven facility in Brunei Darussalam.

Officiating as guest of honour at the launching ceremony was Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sulaiman, Permanent Secretary (Economy and Finance) at the Prime Minister’s Office

Yamako Pacific (B) Sdn Bhd launches its processing plant and fishing vessel

Yamako Pacific (Brunei) Sdn Bhd, a local seafood processing company that specialises in processing yellowfin and skipjack tuna into high quality products, yesterday launched its processing plant and fishing vessel.

The processing plant and fishing vessel was launched by Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism, Dato Seri Setia Awang Hj Ali bin Hj Apong.

SBI Islamic Fund II (Brunei) Limited and Malaysia’s COPE Private Equity have jointly invested up to $14.25 million in Malaysia-based MDT Innovations.

The capital will be used to support MDT Innovations’ research and development, enhance its product quality, expand its business and maintain its competitive edge as it seeks to become a market leader in the Internet of Things (IoT) industry

RII Holdings Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian investment holding company, has taken over 36.5 percent equity interest in PT Pandu Siwi Sentosa by signing the definitive agreement between PT Pandu Siwi Sentosa and its shareholder, SBI Islamic Fund (Brunei) Limited to inject funds into the operation of the logistic company.

Summa Equity acquires stakes in Sengenics Corporation Pte Ltd

Summa Equity has taken over major stakes in Sengenics Corporation Pte Ltd, paving the exit of SBI Islamic Fund II (Brunei) Limited.

SBI Islamic Fund II (Brunei) Limited completed the divestment of 12.93 per cent stake in Sengenics to Summa Equity.
